Unlocking Mage
Mage is a hidden class only available to those who are T3 and have at minimum their Doom Weapon and Max stats. For the easiest runs though, incursion gear would be ideal.
To start unlocking the mage, first you must head into Act 2, World + Styx.
Next you will enter the Frostfire Ruins dungeon, in the top right of the area.
This dungeon is limited to 5 people at a time, and to fully unlock Fire and Frost, you will need to do this at minimum, twice.
Upon entry, you'll be greeted with 2 waves of red and blue adds that you must clear
Upon successfully clearing the enemies, 2 bosses will spawn. Frost will appear in the bottom right and Fire in the top left.
To Unlock Fire
(This is the same steps as Frost, just opposite)
Start by dragging Frost into Fire's area. You'll notice fire and tornadoes will spawn on both sides, and alternate what area they're in. Your goal is to kill Frost in the area with the fire active.
When Frost dies, he will spawn a tornado where he died. And you'll see Fire starts to transform.
Lead the new Fire into the middle of the tornado and kill her.
Upon completion, and grabbing your new cloak, make sure you -save! You'll notice in town now, there is a new NPC on the left side. Grab your level 200 Human and head on over to them!
Congratulations!!
You've unlocked Fire.
Make sure you type '-save' after unlocking it, which will allow you to select it in the load screen!
To Unlock Frost
(This is the same steps as Fire, just opposite)
Start by dragging Fire into Frost's area. You'll notice fire and tornadoes will spawn on both sides, and alternate what area they're in. Your goal is to kill Fire in the area with the tornadoes active.
When Fire dies, she will spawn an area of fire where she died. And you'll see Frost starts to transform.
Lead the new Frost into the middle of the fire and kill him.
Upon completion, and grabbing your new cloak, make sure you -save! You'll notice in town now, there is a new NPC on the right side. Grab your level 200 Night Elf and head on over to them!
